I'm a bit of a clean freak, so a while ago I decided to organize my closet. Although it seemed pretty useless at the time, I'm soooo glad I did it! It makes choosing an outfit so much easier and it it only to like, half an hour to do! So, here are some tips on how to organize your closet❤.
 
. Throw out any old clothes. Remember this rule: if you haven’t worn it in over a year- donate it.
 
. Store your most-used items in plain sight, less-used items below, and least-used items up high. This way it's easy to access your favourite clothes. I personally have most of my clothes hanging up and my bridesmaid dresses are in cute boxes on the top shelf. I also keep a box on my closet floor full of bikinis/swimwear next to my shoerack.
 
. Putting your clothes in order of colour or style makes finding things a whole lot easier! It may sould a little OCD, but trust me it'll save you a ton of time. I personally order my clothes like so:
Formal Wear
Casual Wear
Fancy Dress
(all of which are in rainbow order.)
 
. I really recommend buying a shoe rack if you don't already have one. My family keep their shoes in one big cupboard downstairs which makes it sooo hard to find the shoes you wanna wear! So I really recommend getting a shoe rack and keeping it on your closet floor or whatever because seriously it's so much better!
 
. And finally, make sure you don't hang your sweaters and knitwear, it ruins them! Nobody wants their favourite sweater to get all saggy so make sure you fold them up!
